Love Your Enemies Luke 6:27-38
27 “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. 29 To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic[a] either. 30 Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back. 31 And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. 32 “If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount. 35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. 36 Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.

LIFE TOGETHER
VISITORS: We are so glad you joined us today. We do collect offerings during our worship services. While we
believe this is a chance for each believer to be a good steward of the gifts they have received from God, you are welcome but not expected to give an offering while you are our guest. If you would like to learn more about the Lord’s ministry here at Trinity please call Pastor Rutz.
He would love to get acquainted and visit at a time that is convenient for you. You are also invited to join members in the fellowship hall after this morning’s service.
Attendance Cards: Visitors and members are asked to fill out an attendance card and to list names of each family member in attendance. Turn in your card at the back of the church at the end of the service.
On Sundays when there is Holy Communion please list the names of those who will be communing on the Holy Communion registration side of the card. Hand it to an usher as you go up for communion.
If you have moved or your phone number or email address have changed, please note any changes on the attendance card so that we can update our records in the office.
Weekly bulletins, announcements, and sermons continue to be available on the church website.
Children in the Divine Service Sheets are available from the basket in the back of the church. Parents are encouraged to read these to/with their children. They another way to aid parents in teaching their children.
Clothing with Trinity’s logo: Order your church attire today! Orders can only be placed online with a credit or debit card. Alexis Swanson is available in Fellowship Hall after church for anyone needing help placing an order. The online store closes March 10 at 9 AM. Painting Class: There will be a painting class with Diana Miller at 1 PM in Fellowship Hall on March 16 (snow date March 23). The class is for ages 18 and up. The cost is $25. There’s limited space available. The sign up sheet is in the Narthex.
Birthday Reception: Today, February 23 following Divine Service, the family of Bert Ehm will be hosting a reception, in the fellowship hall, in recognition of Bert’s 90th birthday. All are invited to join together to celebrate with Bert.
Today’s altar flowers were given by Bert’s family.

March calendars will be included in the bulletins once elders set the Lenten through Easter service schedule.
Funeral Service for Ellen Brown will be held tomorrow morning at 11:00 a.m. here at Trinity.

Preschool Board following Divine Service
Special Voter’s Meeting to discuss information about the Mt. Ayr church property will be held following the preschool board meeting on March 2.
Family Fun Activity: On Sun., Mar. 2 at 3:00 p.m. a family bowling & putt-putt golf activity will be held at the Family Fun Center, 301 N. Cherry St. There is no cost to participate. Feel free to come watch if you don’t want to participate and then go to the soup supper for further fellowship.
Soup Supper for Food & Fellowship: Following the family fun outing, all are invited to meet in the church fellowship hall at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2 for a soup supper. Soups will be provided but other things are needed to go with the soup. Please sign up on the sheet found on the table in the narthex.

Lifelight: We have been studying LifeLight courses for over 30 years at Trinity. It has been a great joy to share God’s Word with so many of you over the years. After much prayer and consideration I have decided that I can no longer lead this great Bible study. Anyone who is interested in continuing the LifeLight program is encouraged to speak with me or with Pastor Rutz. I want to thank all who have faithfully participated in the LifeLight Program. Lc Clinic’s Annual Diaper Drive
The Lc Clinic is hosting their annual diaper drive through the end of this week. They need Huggies and Pampers diapers sizes newborn through size 8 and Pull-ups all sizes. Information sheets telling times and locations for drop off sites are available for you to pick up from the table in the narthex.
